This year, AWAN (Arab Women Artists Now) will take place this spring from March 5-29, with the aim of increasing the visibility of Arab women artists in the UK and beyond, and to expose their work to new audiences.  

 

With a vast mix of comedy, film, music, performance, visual arts, and workshops, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in this year’s festival. The full programme will be released soon.

 

AWAN would not be possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of our wonderful volunteers! We are currently seeking passionate and committed individuals to help us deliver our ambitious programme of events. We are looking for people to help out with a variety of roles, including:

 

• Festival promotion (online & offline) prior to the festival

• Brochure & flyer distribution 

• Production support

• Stewarding

• Evaluation and surveys

 

All volunteers will receive a t-shirt, and local travel and lunch expenses will be covered.
